 Southern Cross Baptist Church Christian School commenced in 1988 following a strong conviction of the people of the Church regarding Christian education. Since then, the Lord has shown himself mighty time and time again in the miracles he has performed in the day to day functioning of the school.

Schools are the training institutions for our future leaders. Martin Luther said, “I am much afraid that universities will prove to be the great gates of hell, unless they diligently labour in explaining the Holy Scriptures, and engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not unceasingly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt.” We are pleased to say that our staff and curriculum are committed to the truth of the Word of God.
