So much more than your regular drama school, stage2screen is unique in that it incorporates Green Screen Technology and CGI Special Effects within the film and acting for the camera unit. Green Screen technology is the basis of the effects seen in everything from the latest Hollywood blockbusters to the weather forecasts. Students can experience the magic of Harry Potter, what it is like to fly like Superman, present the weather and much more. Our classes provide a foundation in confidence, creativity, presence and technique for young people interested in performing on stage or in front of the camera. Students work on scenes from movies and television that are videotaped with professional movie cameras in class and are taught how to achieve their best performance on screen. The final 4th term of the year culminates in a gala red carpet event, the Oscar Awards Showcase, where family and friends are invited to attend and view the student's best work on the big screen. All students receive a certificate of participation. stage2screen Oscar awards are presented to the most outstanding junior and senior students. All tutors employed by stage2screen are professional actors, performers, film makers and directors currently working in the entertainment industry.
