Australia Private Schools introduces Mercy College in Coburg, for all your education and learning needs.
In 2015, Mercy College celebrates 50 years of excellence in education. We specialise in holistic learning tailored for girls. We challenge, extend and support our girls to be proactive, motivated and engaged learners for now and the future. As a “Mercy School” we seek to develop our young women to be upstanding citizens who live out our shared values – excellence, hospitality, justice and compassion.
Bringing the passion of their hearts, the energy of their minds and the actions of their hands to diverse learning experiences is fundamental to our commitment to graduating Mercy College alumnae who are confident, compassionate and capable of changing the world.
Opportunities for learning at Mercy include: Robust academic programs from Years 7 to 12, including the Australian Curriculum framework, VCE, VET, VCAL and University Step Up; Immersion Social Justice In-Country Cambodia Outreach; Creative design through textiles, fashion, media and art; Building and sustaining positive relationships through School Wide Positive Behaviour Supports; Competition through SCSA Interschool Sports; HECS free post-secondary academic program options whilst in VCE through undertaking ACU Step Up subjects; Understanding the world through the lens of other languages (LOTE); and Accessing La Trobe Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships.
Welcome to Mercy College one of the popular educators in your Coburg area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
